The 2002 petition drive was successful in raising the level of awareness of Idaho voters for judicial reform, solidifying Idaho J.A.I.L.'s organizing capability, and winning widespread name recognition and popular support.

According to Scott Thurston, Idaho JAILer-In-Chief, the 2002 campaign has laid the foundation for J.A.I.L. to succeed on the ballot in 2004.  "It will be done!"
