I have been in charge of two petition drives in Clark County (Las Vegas)
for several months now. I have seen what works and what does not work.

 

I know timing and the rules. I know exactly what it will take to get J.A.I.L. on the Ballot in Nevada now. It is very simple. It will take $175,000.00 to get it on the ballot and another $200,000.00 for advertising to win....

It cannot be done with volunteers only. We must have paid petitioners.
We will have to pay them 75 cents a signature and that is a minimum.
There are also flyers and the petitions themselves. And office is also
needed. Nothing great just a small place.

I have been to court and the Nevada Secretary of State and the Nevada
Legislature to get the laws so that it is possible to do now in Nevada.
It was not possible before without a Million Dollars.

I have all the expertise lined up. I have the political contacts. I have
the laws ready. ALL I need is the money.

Can we raise it in a year and a half?  We can start September 1, 2005 A.D. It will be finished June 2006 A.D.

That is what it will take. Can we do it?
